Ramadan Bayram in Northern Cyprus

1. Days: Famagusta

March 31

Early in the morning, we transfer from Alanya to Antalya Airport and fly to Ercan Airport. Our tour begins in Famagusta, where we start the day with a free-time breakfast break at the famous Petek Patisserie—one of Cyprus’ must-visit culinary spots. After breakfast, we visit:

Lala Mustafa Pasha Mosque (formerly St. Nicholas Cathedral), a magnificent Gothic structure converted into a mosque during the Ottoman era,

Venetian Palace and the historic square,

Namık Kemal Dungeon,

Famagusta City Walls, offering spectacular panoramic views.

After immersing ourselves in centuries of history, we set off for Kyrenia. Upon arrival in the afternoon, we check into our hotel. Since our day started early, the afternoon is yours to relax—enjoy the hotel's outdoor pool, soak up the sun, or savor Cypriot delicacies at nearby restaurants.

2. Days: Kyrenia

April 1

After breakfast, we leave the hotel and head to the heart of Kyrenia. We explore the iconic Kyrenia Castle, home to the fascinating Shipwreck Museum, where a 2,300-year-old sunken ship awaits discovery. Strolling along the harbor, we take in the charming historical streets of the city. You will have free time to shop, enjoy a coffee, and immerse yourself in the local atmosphere.

3. Days: Nicosia

April 2

After breakfast, we travel to Nicosia, the last divided capital in Europe. Highlights of our visit include:

Selimiye Mosque, a stunning blend of Gothic and Ottoman architecture,

Büyük Han, one of Cyprus’ most authentic and vibrant cultural hubs,

The city’s cobbled historic streets, filled with unique charm and character.

During free time, those interested can cross the Lokmacı Border Gate and take a short walk into Southern Cyprus for a quick exploration.

In the afternoon, we transfer to Ercan Airport for our return flight to Antalya, followed by a transfer back to Alanya, concluding our Bayram holiday with cherished memories.
